On May 23rd Backpack Buddies was invited to participate in this year’s Telus Days of Giving! This year was incredibly special as the Telus team brought together 20 of the country’s leading social media innovators and influencers to celebrate community investment and help pack backpacks of food for Backpack Buddies.
Ou team arrived to Telus Garden in Vancouver with enough supplies to pack 500 backpacks of food to drop off to kids at various inner city schools.
We had an amazing time that culminated in Telus donating $10,000 to Backpack Buddies to help us with our cause! We were blown away. Thank you Curtis Rowe, Claudia Yeung and and Michael Louie for making this whole event possible.
